Very happy to continue to see reactions to my FAVORITE TM song!

I LOVE this song from my sister country of Zealand. The song did really well in my country of Australia.. I especially love the a capella section by the Herbs (pronounced with a H in countries 'down under' ). They are a Maori group. As with most Pacific Islander nations they have beautiful harmonising capacity. The USA Hawaiian nation-state also belongs to this South Pacific area and are known for their singing, also. There is much wonderful singing/musical talent from New Zealand and Australia of which the majority of people of the USA have never heard.

Steven’s voice was terrible on the original recording. It got better as it got more and more raspy. The scream is excellent here. As for present day they had to cancel the farewell tour because of Steven’s vocal cords. But apparently the surgery was a success because they have rescheduled the farewell tour for the fall and winter of this year.

I like the original so much better but this was interesting. And yes, Steven Tyler’s voice has been damaged. His vocal cords have been possibly irreversible which is sad. He had surgery back in February of 24 and doctors said it was worse than expected.

I know Jon Bon Jovi's voice has a lot of issues but I haven't heard anything about Steven Tyler's voice. This version with the 2Cellos is just beautiful 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 The 2Cellos is a great rabbit hole Thankyou Judy and the DJ Maybe at some point try 2Cellos covering Thunderstruck. A good laugh and it also shows their talent

Does anyone know if they tried to get Cliff Richard to appear in The Young Ones as the performer of the episode? I remember they had some surprising guest bands on like Madness (twice), Dexys Midnight Runners and Motörhead.

So glad you gave Cliff another try. Hopefully this video won't get removed like the last one was. Cliff has such a great sense of humor, even at his own expense. "Living Doll" was Cliff's first #1 in 1959, and this charity remake also hit #1 in 1986. That's the original guitarist Hank Marvin of The Shadows who's revealed in the video.

This brings back a lot of great memories. What a great show the Young Ones was at the time🤣🤣🤣 Rick, (played by Rick Mayall) in the show was a devotee to Cliff Richard. That's where the collaboration came from

In case you missed it, there’s a better version of this where he manages to get though the whole thing without fluffing the lyrics. That line he struggled with is “it couldn’t be that all these pious people are liars”. Oh, and this is a slightly sanitized version; in the original lyric God doesn’t take a break from being a “creep”, but rather something that does rhyme with “stunt” from the previous line.
